CAREER OPPORTUNITIES


All certified and non-certified employees hired who have not had a background/fingerprint check in the past one year will be required to complete this process for employment in the District. The electronic fingerprint check costs $44.80. As a non-certified employee, you will be reimbursed for the cost with proof of payment. As a substitute teacher, once you have substituted at least ten times during the year, you will be reimbursed for the cost of the background check with proof of payment.

The district will reimburse the expense for volunteer background check after 30 hours of volunteer work has been completed. Please turn in original receipt along with verification of hours to the building principal for reimbursement.

Maintenance Director:

The New Bloomfield R-III School District is accepting applications for a Maintenance Director.  The position comes with board paid benefits.  

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Ability to read and interpret such documents as safety manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and specifications and procedures manuals.  Have a working knowledge of the areas of heating, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, construction, and the ability to improve and/or repair existing structures.  In addition, the ability to speak effectively with vendors, staff, and supervisory personnel. Be physically and mentally capable of carrying out the duties and responsibilities of the job assignment.  It is helpful to have experience in past supervisory roles.
