IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS

Immunization Requirements

The State of Missouri requires that all school children be immunized according to current CDC recommendations. New Bloomfield honors this policy and requests that all students provide an up-to-date shot record before school starts in August. If your child is not up to date, they may not be permitted to start school until they are caught up. The District will honor religious and medical exemptions and will accept students who are currently in the process of being caught up on shots. If this applies to your student, please provide proof from your child’s pediatrician or health department to the school nurse.

Required immunizations mostly apply to:

·Incoming kindergarten students

·Incoming 8^th graders

·Incoming 12^th graders

·Transfer students from another district or state

Please provide the most updated copy of shot records to the school health office during registration, via email, or fax.
